SimplyZippy and I went to See the Dark Knight on opening night and we just fell absolutely in love with it. So, naturally, we went to see it again...and hopefully we'll be seeing it again tomorrow night...because I find myself craving it.
I can't even begin to describe how "on-the-ball" this movie is. It's perfect.
They found the perfect actors to play all the parts. It's just mind-blowing!
And yes, I have to give my ultimate respect to Heath Ledger, because his portrayal of The Joker is just phenomenal!
After viewing it a second time, me and Zippy got into a short discussion with a friend about why we think Heath Ledger is the ultimate Joker.
Our friend agrees that he is good, but says Heath didn't capture the evil crazy enough. She said that he played the funny crazy well and that's it.
And I couldn't agree with her less.
Now, Jack Nicholson may be able to pull off The Joker, but Heath...well he just took it to another level.
In The Dark Knight...I find myself sitting in the theater being terrified. I mean, he made me laugh during the movie...but just his insanity...it was just indescribable.
For anyone who has yet to see The Dark Knight, PLEASE! Do yourself a favor and go...go see it now! Because you are in for the ride of your life!
I'm talking, edge of your seat, don't know whats gonna happen next, type a thing!
